A GlowTouch team of five developers and 5 QA resources are working with CareMedic to design, build and make enhancements in the EFR as per the customer's request. The EFR consists of key areas such as admissions, charge capture, coding, payment posting, denial management, and insurance follow-up so customers can benefit from the automated workflow and information delivery available using the EFR.

CareMedic was able to leverage Glowtouch to remotely develop the EFR Dashboard and all the drill down cube reports using Cognos 8.3 and SQL Server 2005 as the back-end. The Complete data capture support and reporting provides the information necessary to discover opportunities to lower AR days. The EFR is system independent and interfaces with most major patient accounting systems which helps the hospitals accelerate cash flow and improve net collections.
