Top 3 Things You Need To Do While You’re At CCW Nashville 2019 #CCWwinter

Contact Center Week Nashville (CCW Nashville 2019) is chocked full of sessions that will enlighten you and help you improve the customer experience your company can provide. While the sessions themselves are mind-blowing, there are a few other things that you should do while you are at the event.

Take a look at these three great things you need to do while you’re at CCW Nashville 2019, besides attending the sessions. Then let us know if you have more ideas to add!

Network, Network, Network

From the newbie orientation to the evening receptions to the networking breaks and more – there are so many opportunities to meet interesting people at CCW Nashville! Even if you are not an extrovert, now is the time to take advantage of the resources at your fingertips. And yes, you should attend the customer experience sessions, but don’t miss out on the chance to meet the CX attendees as well.

Remember, there are most likely other people attending who face similar customer experience related challenges as you. Now is your time to ask your questions and get some answers.

Even if you don’t feel comfortable sharing your CX world, you should still take a moment to get to know the people you sit next to. The worst that can happen is that you’ll make some great connections with interesting people in your field. No harm can come from that and lots of good can result!

Come to the CCWomen Breakfast

On Friday, January 18, from 7:10AM – 8:00AM CCW will be hosting a very special event: the CCWomen Breakfast. Sorry guys – this event is only for the women. But ladies, if you are at CCW Nashville, this breakfast is a must.

CCWomen is by women for women who work with customers to build relationships, support and inspire one another, and find practical solutions to the myriad of challenges women face in the workplace. CCWomen works to raise the profile of women in customer contact, empowering them to pursue success together, develop new skills, and learn the value and power of the customer experience community.

Join fellow women in customer contact to connect and network your morning away!

Spin the Wheel Of Giving

Stop by the GlowTouch booth (318) while you’re at CCW Nashville. Of course, we’d love to show you how you can transform customer care with the right insourcing-outsourcing balance, people, channels, locations, processes, and technologies. But while growing businesses is important, we also follow a Double Bottom Line (2BL) philosophy, where community growth is as important as fiscal growth.

We invest approximately 3% of our revenue to feed 55,000 children daily, support STEM education initiatives, and provide healthcare services to communities in need. That’s why we’re bringing the Wheel of Giving with us to Nashville.

Stop by our booth and spin the wheel to help us decide where we should be focusing some of our charitable giving.

The three charities who are in the running are:

BLOOM Charity – BLOOM’s intervention programs target the early childhood development, education, and mental health needs of institutionalized orphans in Morocco, with a mission to improve outcomes. Simultaneously, BLOOM builds a community of support for Moroccan adoptees living in the USA, to foster a sense of community and connection to their birth country.

Kentucky Science and Engineering Fair – KY-SEF’s mission is to expand educational opportunities for all middle and high school students, and to enhance the visibility and importance of science and engineering in Kentucky by providing annual statewide competitions that support, encourage, and recognize student excellence in science and engineering research.

Akshaya Patra – GlowTouch has partnered with the Akshaya Patra Foundation, a non-profit headquartered in Bangalore, India dedicated to ensuring no child in India shall be deprived of education because of hunger. Together, we are building a new Mega Kitchen facility in Mangalore, India. Each day, the kitchen will serve 50,000 children attending government-aided schools in and around the Dakshina Kannada and Udupi regions.

Each charity will receive a contribution from GlowTouch. But it’s up to you to decide who gets how much! Come by and do something good for your business, your customers, and the world.

Here’s hoping that while you are at CCW Nashville, you learn a ton about improving the customer journey, make loads of wonderful connections, and take the time to give back while you’re at it. Oh, and don’t forget the most important part – have fun!
